Alex Apt photographs human nature. His distinctive images are the result of the raw, impromptu interaction between the subject and environment. In what are in essence controlled experiments he invites artists and performers, who have the strong ability to convey their own unique statement, to experience, and express themselves through the physical and emotional conversation with a chosen setting. The rest is transpired from the subjects’ instinctual response to the sights, textures and 'feel' of this particular landscape, witnessed, framed and captured by Alex.
